Daily newsletter

A whole day of tech in eight minutes

Big tech, AI, cybersecurity and design — read and rewritten, never copied. Plus three sections you won't find in another tech newsletter: ADHD & Dev, LARP in tech, and the slang of the day.

The edition

Seven sections, and the one with nothing to say doesn't run

A section with no good story that day gets cut from the edition. Padding it out to keep the structure tidy is how you lose a list.

Limits

What this newsletter isn't

  • It isn't a headline aggregator. No sentence from the original source makes it into the edition. Everything is rewritten, with the link there if you want the source.
  • It isn't a sales channel. Polaryeti doesn't sell hours and doesn't staff squads. Subscribing will not get you a pitch.
  • It carries no sponsorship. If it ever does, it will be labelled as such in the edition it appears in, and this paragraph will change.
  • It doesn't charge. There's no paid tier, no content wall, no full version behind a subscription.
  • It isn't written from scratch by hand. Each edition's draft is generated by a language model from that day's sources, then reviewed by a human before it goes out. It's stated here because finding out later would be worse.

The newsletter is a product of the Polaryeti studio, made by the same person who writes everything else. Same brand; the tone here is looser, and that's deliberate.
